About farm
Our wooden house is at least
250-300 years old and is under the protection of monuments. Since the past, the farm was self-sustaining oriented. When it turned out that only agricultural production is no more lucrative, we began to make changes. At first, we renovated the old wooden house and arranged tourist facilities.
The main guiding principle on our farm is to produce more home-made and healthy food and prepare dishes for our guests by re-creating
old recipes from rustic cuisine. In years of growth, it turned out that we need to arrange the accommodation. Today our guests are not only locals but people from all over Europe and other continents. Soon we began with more professional wine production and we built a new
wine cellar. Today we make a boast of our
own brand of cviček (tart light red wine) which is well known across Slovenia.
Next to guests who stay with us we have many
customers who only have a dinner, celebrate or entertain in private party. We devote all of our attention to guest and offer comfort and hospitality. For this reason, we develop friendly relationship –
you come as a guest and leave as a friend.
When working on the farm, the whole family is involved.
Tradition is preserved and handed down from generation to generation.
Member of the family
All family members are engaged in farm work.
The head of the family, Franc, is responsible for all our animals, viticulture and all agricultural work. He also comes to aid as a waiter and he is pleased to take guests in the wine cellar for wine tasting.
His wife MIlena is his right-hand man and first of all, she takes care of stomach growling, guests’ and family members’. She enjoys gardening and she grows many vegetables using biodynamic methods.
The first of four children is Ana Marija who helps in the vineyard, on the meadows and helps in the kitchen where she is waitress from the very beginning. She is engineer in viticulture by profession as she cultivates a love for vine and wine.
The second child is
Alenka who also helps with work in the vineyard and on the meadows. She also helps in the kitchen and brings excellent food to the table.
The third child is
Martin Jožef. First of all, he entertains the guests, plays the diatonic button accordion and lures beautiful melodies. It seems he will succeed father Franc, take over the farm and confront new challenges.
In the end, we must not forget
Andrej. He is the youngest of four children and he plays the guitar, so guests are impressed by two musicians. His business is to lead the guests and shows the farm animals. He likes to feed animals and he likes tractor driving. On the farm, you will see rabbit-hutch our son Andrej made himself according to his own plan.
Celebrations

We can prepare for you
rich celebration feast (snacks, lunches, dinners, wine tasting) ... with food produced on our farm and coupled with great
home-made wine.
There is a dining room available with the old wooden floor where once grain was threshed. In the room where the old threshing tool is still displayed is enough space for hosting up to
60 people.
You can also dance in the musical rhythm of family musicians.
